Arne KaijserSince its founding in 1827, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities.
KTH has more than 12,000 full-time students, some 1,800 PhD students and approximately 3,700 full-time employees. HoNEST partner at KTH is the Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment. There are four professors at the Division, two associate professors, two assistant professors, some senior researchers and about fifteen PhD students.
The Division has a long tradition of research on energy and infrastructure. Almost all our research is carried out in the form of team projects that have successfully secured funding from highly competitive research funding programmes. The quality of our research has been confirmed by several evaluations.

Conduct historical research on the Swedish experience of societal relations and engagement with nuclear energy.
