Ivaylo Hristov received his PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. The project was part off collaborative program between Plovdiv University and Eindhoven University of Technology. He had teaching course “History and sociology of Bulgarian nuclear program” at University of Plovdiv, for two years in 2012-2014. His published doctoral thesis has the title The communist nuclear era. Bulgarian atomic community during the Cold war. At the moment Hristov is working as researcher for University of Plovdiv as part of HoNESt.
