Christian Forstner

Friedrich Schiller University Jena

Dr. phil., graduated in Physics in holds a PhD in History of Science. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany. He specializes in History of Science during the Cold War. Previously, Forstner was a postdoc at the University of Vienna and fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for History of Science, Berlin.
Forstner’s interest in the history of nuclear energy and society originates from his research on the history of nuclear physics and technology in Austria through a transnational perspective.
Within HoNESt, Meyer contributes to the historical research in WP2 focusing on the study of the Austrian experience.
