WP2 Workshop in Berlin

Workpackage 2 (Historical Research) met for a two-day workshop in Berlin to discuss the challenge of collecting the historical evidence, writing comparable country reports, which will form the basis for the social science research in WP 4 and 5.

Additionally, methodological and ethical issues of oral history research were discussed, as well as the outline of a publication strategy. Furthermore, WP2 members formed working groups to deepen research cooperation on five themes:
1) “NGOs and Social Movements and Nuclear Power”
2) “Alternative Reactor Types”
3) Democracy, Dictatorship and Nuclear Power
4) Economics, business and Nuclear Power
5) The Fuel Cycle
