The Munich stakeholder engagement workshop

Information on the Event

The HoNESt (History of Nuclear Energy and Society) Project will hold a workshop for public stakeholders to discuss the past and future public engagement with nuclear energy.
The one-day event is held at the Deutsches Museum, Munich, on Thursday, 5 April 2018, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Registration: 9:30 a.m.
Deutsches Museum The workshop focuses on the relationship between nuclear energy and society in Central and Eastern Europe - from historical experience to present-day practice. Stakeholder engagement is an integrative part of the project.
The event will involve stakeholders from industry, associations, politics, research and civil society – of whom you might be one.
The stakeholder event will involve three components. First, we will discuss HoNESt's historical research on how nuclear energy and society have related to each other in the past. Second, HoNESt's social science team will discuss some of the mechanisms of successful stakeholder engagement. Finally, we would very much value your involvement in an activity where we will explore the future of societal engagement with nuclear power, and thus open new avenues of thinking.
Registration is open at Eventbrite.
