One of the most important ways to examine and understand the history of nuclear energy and society is to focus on key events that have shaped this relationship. Within each country case we can find specific events that had a lasting effect on how nuclear energy is viewed by the public, the government, and other significant actors. In this episode of the Honest Podcast we will learn about some of those events and how they would shape the perception and acceptance of nuclear energy.
The HoNESt Consortium meets at Universitad Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, for a two-day meeting. Researchers will present and discuss the first round of findings from the empirical, historical research phase compiled in the country reports. These findings will be refined in the Autumn.
